Liza Scholtz is an actor, poet and writer born and based in Cape Town, South Africa. Liza co-wrote and acted in the feature film High Fantasy which had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and won the award for the best feature film at The Durban International film festival. In 2021 Liza performed her one-woman poetry performance piece to audiences at Constallations, a show put together by Brett Bailey. In 2022 her poetry was published in the international print Magazine Petala, and in the international print Magazine Fruta in 2023. Liza has a passion for combining the mediums of poetry and film to create short films with her poetry.
