And we’re live!

OPEN BOOK FESTIVAL
8 - 10 SEPTEMBER

And we’re live! View the programme on our website.

This is always a highlight of our year – after months spent reading and planning, the programme is finally out in the public domain. We hope you like what you see, and are excited to book and join us at the HCC: Homecoming Centre from 8 – 10 September.

With the unbelievable line-up of writers, programming has not been easy – there is so much possibility – and we have ended up with a very full three days. The events are powerful, and making choices of what to attend is not going to be easy!

For those who prefer browsing a paper copy, a downloadable version of the programme will be available soon, and the printed programme will be available from the Book Lounge around the middle of August.

The hub of the Festival is the HCC: Homecoming Centre, a space we love returning to each year. In addition to the venues there, we are also running events at the Book Lounge, 16 on Lerotholi, The Electric and Neighbourgood East City Communal Space.

Tickets for all events are available through Webtickets. Please note that even where an event is free, you will need to book and produce a ticket at the door.

Those purchasing 5 or more tickets are eligible for a 20% discount, and as always, we are offering comps to students, as well as to those who experience the ticket price as a barrier to entry. If you would like to be considered, please email openbooktickets@gmail.com.

If you have any questions or need further detail about the participants, the books or the venue, please get in touch with Frankie.
