Open Book Festival 2023 – See you in a week!

OPEN BOOK FESTIVAL
8 - 10 SEPTEMBER

The Festival kicks off a week from today!

If you haven’t booked yet, check out the programme here.

We can’t believe that this time next week we’ll be gathering at the Homecoming Centre to kick off three days of conversation with some of the most incredible writers. There is nothing to match watching people exit events with excitement about what they have attended reflected on their faces.

Before we get there though, a few reminders…
The nature of planning something like Open Book is that there are changes. If you are working from a printed programme, please check our website to ensure you have the latest and most accurate information.

At this point, there have been several changes to the Marketplace – some people who were going to be included here are no longer joining us. Those gaps have been filled by other exhibitors.

Also happening at the Marketplace is our Reaction Wall. We are inviting people to add their thoughts about the Festival to this space (located close to the Book Lounge satellite shop). Cards to participate can be found at the Letterhead Stand.

If you’re still thinking about whether to join us, remember that we offer a 20% discount on purchases of 5 or more tickets.

And if you’re battling to reach decisions about what to attend, here are some options to consider.

Tickets for all events are available through Webtickets. We will also be operating a box office from the Homecoming Centre throughout the Festival.
Please note that even where an event is free, you will need to book and produce a ticket at the door.

We are running events at several venues over the course of the Festival.
