Sean Davison is a Professor in the Dept of Biotechnology at UWC. In 2010 he was arrested for murder in New Zealand after helping his terminally ill mother die. In 2012 he founded pro-euthanasia organisation, DignitySA. Since June 2019, he’s been under house arrest for the murder of Dr Anrich Burger, and two other assisted suicides. His memoir, The Price of Mercy tracks the extraordinary journey that Davison embarked on to prepare for the gruelling legal challenge of assisted suicide.
