Mogamad Salie was diagnosed at the age of 45 with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder. Chicken Legs is a coming of age memoir about his childhood and teens as an oppressed coloured citizen during the 70’s and 80’s in apartheid South Africa. He lived in Switzerland from 2001 until 2016, when he moved back to Cape Town.
