Lerato Mahlangu

Lerato Mahlangu is an emerging writer of short stories. She writes boldly within the black-comedy genre and uses humor, satire and sharp observation to explore complex realities. Her stories have appeared in FIYAH, as well as anthologies including One Life and Mandla’s Mark. She’s the runner up of the Dalro Can Themba Merit Award and winner of the Cover2Cover My World My Words writing competition.
