Keith Oliver Lewis is a poet from Smartie Town, Paarl. His work is long-listed for the Sol Plaatje European Union Award. Keith has been published in Yesterdays and Imagining Realities, New Contrast Literary Magazine, Ake Review and elsewhere. He was a writing fellow at the Johannesburg Institute of Advanced Studies and Jakes Gerwel Foundation. Keith is the winner of the 2023 Short.Sharp.Stories Prize. In 2024, he won the New Contrast Poetry Prize. In 2025, Keith won the AVBOB poetry competition.
