Justin Fox is a travel journalist, author and photographer. He has published a number of books from photographic collections through to armchair travel titles. He is a former editor at large of Getaway travel magazine and editor of Getaway International magazine. His novel, Whoever Fears the Sea, was published in 2014. The Impossible Five: In Search of South Africa’s Most Elusive Mammals, has just been published.

He studied at Oxford, after which he was a research fellow at the University of Cape Town, where he now teaches part time. His writing and photographs have been published worldwide and he is the author of a dozen non-fiction books.
