Henrietta Rose-Innes is a novelist and short story writer. Nineveh (2011) was shortlisted for the 2012 Sunday Times Fiction Prize and the M-Net Literary Award. The French translation of Nineveh won the François Sommer Literary Prize (2015). She is a past winner of the Caine Prize for African Writing (2008) and the HSBC/South African PEN Award, for her story ‘Poison’. Her short stories have been included in various international publications, including Granta and AGNI and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. Her latest novel, Green Lion, was published in 2015.
