Firdose Moonda is a journalist, academic and yoga teacher, who has been covering sport since 2007. She works primarily as ESPN’s southern African and women’s correspondent; is also the women’s editor-at-large for On The Whistle, an African football podcast, and is completing doctoral research into Yoga, Politics and Possibilities for Social Justice. Firdose’s main interests lie in the intersectionality of sport and society, and interrogating what ideas of embodiment can reflect about the world we live in.
