C. A. Davids is a writer and editor living in Cape Town. Her fiction has appeared in Twist, and African Pens: New Writing from Southern Africa (published by New Africa Books, April 2007). Her debut novel, The Blacks of Cape Town (2013) was shortlisted for the Edinburgh International Book Festival’s First Book Award, the University of Johannesburg Debut Writing Prize, and the SALA First-Time Published Author Award. Her most recent novel, published in 2022, is How to be a Revolutionary.
