Anna Steynor is the head of climate services at the Climate System Analysis Group, University of Cape Town. With a background in climate science and applied adaptation, she facilitates the robust use of climate information in adaptation decision-making. Anna implements and manages climate services projects at CSAG as well as implements regional capacity building initiatives. As the head of climate services, she acts as the liaison for the exchange of information between CSAG and other key international players on climate information and adaptation initiatives. Her current research foci include the transdisciplinary co-production of climate information and the role of risk perception on the uptake and use of climate services in Africa.
