CAKE FOR BOOKS!
We are delighted to announce that we have identified Westridge High School in Mitchell’s Plain as this year’s focus school for the Open Book Library Project.
Headed by Mrs Vergotine, the school is home to 1055 students. We are aiming to have 5000 titles on the shelves in time for the official library handover in September this year!

Some of the shelves we aim to fill by September 2013

We’re kicking off fund raising for the books tomorrow morning (14 March 2013) with a raffle!
A beautiful red velvet cake baked by one of our big-hearted readers will be raffled off, at the bargain price of R20 a ticket!

To enter, please contact the Book Lounge or 021 462 2425

The lucky draw will take place on Tuesday evening, 19 March, after the Human Rights Doccie Night at the Book Lounge.

Cake for books 🙂 Everyone wins!
