Wisani Mushwana is a writer and researcher currently based in Cape Town. He holds a MA degree in Creative Writing (with distinction) from the University of Cape Town and is currently completing his PhD in English Studies at the same university. His debut novel, A Soft Landing, won the Book Lounge’s 2023 Book of the Year award and was shortlisted for the 2024 UJ Prize for Fiction.
