She has a deep appreciation for how individuals can free themselves from their limitations and change and grow. Her work is largely about supporting personal, team and organisational transformation across various sectors. Vuyo’s professional experience is a confluence of various aspects of the People Development field, including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Team Effectiveness, Leadership Development and Conflict Mediation. Over the last two decades, Vuyo’s passion for valuing diversity has best been lived in her management of the Pan African Market which is a space where divergent cultures and fields of creative expertise come together. She has also been extensively involved in assisting various clients across corporate, public, social and educational settings to understand their often complex diversity issues since 1994. These interventions have often also included or been interspersed with the other vast array of above-mentioned facilitation and transformation related consulting activities.
Vuyo is the founder and Managing Director of the historic Pan African Market, a thriving hub of African creativity, arts and economic development with representation of peoples from across the entire African continent, exigent in compelling Cape Town to confront her inclusivity issues.
