Thabiso Mofokeng started writing at the age of fifteen. He is a versatile writer who writes in Sesotho and English. Some of his Sesotho books are prescribed by the Department of Education for Grade 8 and 10. After being a self-made Sesotho language practitioner for a while, he became the founding publisher of Mosa Media and Book Distributors (Pty) Ltd – excelling in publishing books written in African languages. He completed his Master of Arts in Creative Writing with distinctions at Rhodes University in 2015. He is currently doing his PhD in English at the University of the Western Cape. He is the 2016/17 Dinaane Debut Fiction Award Finalist. He was named as one of the Mail and Guardian #200 Young South Africans 2017. His latest novel is The Last Stop.
