Svante Weyler is the founder and publisher of Weyler förlag, a small, literary publishing house in Stockholm, Sweden. His long career in the media and book business includes almost two decades with Swedish Radio and before becoming the Publishing director at Norstedts, Sweden’s second most important publishing house. In 2007 he set up his own house where he, among others, publishes the South African writers Marlene van Niekerk, Nthikeng Mohlele and Deon Meyer. He is a regular contributor to several Swedish papers, a translator and author. His most recent book is an essay on life and development in a small Congolese village called Ett hus i Ngouedi (A House in Ngouedi).
