Sicelo Kula is passionate about writing while pursuing a career in law. He is currently doing his articles at a law firm in Cape Town, but has continued to write short stories for the FunDza Literacy Trust. His stories are very popular with FunDza readers and he has written several stories for FunDza’s ‘Right’s Project’ which uses fictional short stories to spark debate and inform readers about the rights in our constitution. In 2015 Sicelo launched his first novel, Taking Chances, as part of Cover2Cover’s Harmony High series at the Book Lounge, where he was in conversation with Deon Meyer who had high praise for the novel. His ultimate goal in writing is ‘to create tales that amaze and educate readers.’
