Shane van der Hoven

Shane van der Hoven is a writer, scholar, translator, editor. Their debut poetry collection, Kruiper-Crawler (uHlanga, Dec 2025) presents pairs of poems in Afrikaans and English. They are completing their PhD at UCT, and are an Afrikaans co-editor at New Contrast.
