Sally Partridge is getting more teen fans with each book she publishes. The Goblet Club won the SABC/You Magazine I am a writer Competition in 2007, as well as the MER Prize for Best Youth Novel at the Mnet Via Afrika Awards in 2008. Fuse (2009), her second novel, was shortlisted for the Percy Fitzpatrick Prize for youth literature in 2010. Dark Poppy’s Demise (2011) and Sharp Edges (2013) were both awarded the MER Prize for Youth Fiction. She was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize (2013) and for the Short.Sharp.Stories Award in 2017. Her latest YA novel, Mine, was published in 2018.
