Ryan Pedro’s debut poetry collection, pienk ceramic-hondjies, was awarded the Ingrid Jonker Prize as well as the UJ Debut Prize. Since then, he has served on the judging panel for both the UJ Prizes and kykNET-Rapport Prizes. He works as a scriptwriter on various television shows. He lives in Gordon’s Bay with his wife and their two dogs.
