Rehane Abrahams

Dr Rehane Abrahams is a researcher, live artist, writer, multiple award-winning theatre maker and actor on stage and screen, director and Fitzmaurice Voicework teacher.  She is interested in the eco-erotic belonging of Land and Body in ways that are anti-colonial, and her research-creation performances have made and thought with the mythic aquatic through hydropoetics and hydrofeminism. In 2026, she joined the UWC Blue Humanities Chair: Thinking with Water as a Research Associate.  Rehane’s recent embodied joys include Tango and Tai-Chi swords.
