Ramabina Mahapa joined LARC as a researcher in January 2018 and largely focuses on issues around land and mining in rural areas. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree majoring in Psychology and Philosophy and BSocSc (Hons) in African Studies from UCT. Ramabina previously worked at RX Radio, a children’s Radio Station based at Red Cross Children’s Hospital and prior to that he completed a one year Fellowship with Tshisimani Centre for Activist Education.
