Ohene Yaw Ampofo-Anti is a South African human rights lawyer with Ghanaian heritage. He is an alumnus of the University of Cape Town where he obtained an LLB and the University of California, Los Angeles where he obtained an LLM in Public Interest Law and Policy as well as Critical Race Studies. His short story “The Promise and Pitfalls of Azania,” will be included in Jalada Magazine’s 10 th edition. His short story “That which may not be named” was published by Brittle Paper in December 2023. In his spare time, he enjoys learning languages, reading, hiking, learning history, appreciating art and architecture and of course writing. He lives in Pretoria, South Africa with his parents and their three dogs.
