Niamh Ahern is a writer, researcher, and editor currently based between Oxford, Cape Town, and Youghal. She completed a BA(Hons) in Afrikaans at the University of Cape Town and a Master’s in World Literatures in English at the University of Oxford, where she will be starting her DPhil (English) in October. She has been affiliated with New Contrast since 2023 and is currently serving as Production Editor. Some of her interests include book history, typography, and the purpose of literature across languages, nations, and literary systems.
