Melinda Ferguson heads up the publishing imprint MFBooks, specialising in hard hitting memoirs and works that transform both the reader and writer. In 2016 MFBooks published the Sunday Times Alan Paton Award winner Rape: A South African Nightmare by Dr Pumla Dineo Gqola.  As a writer Melinda Ferguson sprang onto the local literary scene in 2005 with her memoir, Smacked: A harrowing journey of addiction to recovery. In 2010 she released her second best selling memoir, Hooked: Secrets and highs of a sober addict. She completed her memoir trilogy in 2015 with Crashed: How Trashing a Ferrari Saved my Life. Ferguson has also co-written and published three biography memoirs including The Kelly Khumalo Story (2012) and Oscar An Accident Waiting to Happen (2014) with Trish Taylor. Her latest book co-authored  with Lindiwe HaniBeing Chris Hani’s Daughter  has captured the public’s imagination to become a bestseller.
