Melinda Ferguson heads up the publishing imprint MFBooks, specialising in hard hitting memoirs and works that transform both the reader and writer. In 2016 MFBooks published the Sunday Times Alan Paton Award winner Rape: A South African Nightmare by Dr Pumla Dineo Gqola. As a writer Melinda Ferguson sprang onto the local literary scene in 2005 with her memoir, Smacked: A harrowing journey of addiction to recovery. In 2010 she released her second best-selling memoir, Hooked: Secrets and highs of a sober addict. Crashed: How Trashing a Ferrari Saved my Life followed in 2015. Her most recent memoir, Bamboozled, is about to hit the shelves.
