Luami Calitz is a bookseller by day and an artist by night. Amongst other things, she works at The Book Lounge as one of the children’s book buyers. She has a BA in Fine Art from Stellenbosch University, and has exhibited at Woordfees, Eclectica gallery, Cavalli Gallery and Dreampress. Some of her projects include cover art for Azille Coetzee’s novel Die Teenoorgestelde is net so waar, and illustrations for Jaco Adriaanse’s Adamastor City, a spec-fic novella in verse. When she is not working you can find her at the skate park.
