Keval Harie is a qualified attorney and is director at Gay and Lesbian Memory in Action (GALA). Harie seeks to put South Africa’s Constitution at the centre of his career and use it to find new ways to promote social justice and human rights.
At GALA, where he took up his position in January 2017, he is excited about the opportunity to connect the archives to new intersections of activism, particularly around gender identity and sexuality.
