Ken Liu was born in China and moved to America at the age of 11. Liu’s short stories have won a Nebula, two Hugos, a World Fantasy Award and a Science Fiction & Fantasy Translation Award. The Grace of Kings is his first novel in the Dandelion Dynasty fantasy trilogy. His short story, The Paper Menagerie, was the first work of fiction to win all 3 major SF awards, the Hugo, the Nebula and the World Fantasy Award. It is included in his collection of the same name. He is also the translator of Cixin Liu’s Hugo winning The Three-Body Problem.
