Joe Vaz is a full-time actor working in feature films and television who found his love for SF drew him (in a 3am epiphany) into the creation of Something Wicked. Having grown up with the great short-fiction magazines of the UK and US, it dawned on him that there was no such market for budding creators within South Africa and Something Wicked was born. The first volume of Something Wicked was launched at Open Book 2012.
