Jenna Cato Bass is a South African filmmaker and writer. Their films include the features Love The One You Love (2014), High Fantasy (Toronto Film Festival, 2017), Flatland (Berlinale, 2019) and Mlungu Wam (Good Madam) (Toronto Film Festival 2021). In addition, she has co-written the features Rafiki (Cannes Un Certain Regard, 2018) and Vuta N’Kuvute (Toronto Film Festival, 2021). Jenna is also a co-founder and facilitator at Free Film School, an alternative film and arts training initiative in Cape Town.
