Indira Neville is a New Zealand comics artist, community organiser, editor and commentator. She has been making comics for over twenty years, and loves all aspects of making them – writing and drawing and printing comics, folding the pages and stapling them, giving them to her friends and leaving them in the street. She loves having control of her comic content and leaving the distribution much more to chance. Although she is passionate about self-publishing, Indira’s work has also appeared in numerous ‘properly’ published anthologies and magazines, both in New Zealand and Australia. Recently, she co-edited (together with Rae Joyce and Sarah Laing) the anthology Three Words, a collection of Aotearoa/New Zealand women’s comics.
