Helen is, among other things, a visual artist and part-time illustrator drawn to the old-fashioned ritual of scratching various mediums onto blank pieces of paper. Her work channels offbeat perspectives and her oldest inspirations are Ralph Steadman, Dr Seuss and Quentin Blake. Despite her love of inventing new characters, she is by no means above the making of fan art and even serious portraiture.
