Hakkiesdraad Hartman

Hakkiesdraad Hartman has an artistic streak that includes both visual and performing art. It is in writing though that he finds himself most at home. Playing around with words has allowed him to develop his poetic sense, which later morphed into the character Hakkiesdraad Hartman the performing hip-hop artist. He tries not to limit his writing to a specific topic, but currently, the biggest issue of concern covered by his alter ego, is the plight of the Khoi-Khoi people. His roots and culture are important and through hip-hop and poetry he can give voice to those issues.
