Gretchen Haley writes novels and short stories. She has also written social commentaries and performed them at businesses, community radio stations and schools. She has co-written and acted in industrial theatre plays in the forum theatre style for business institutes and wellness organisations. She lives in Johannesburg with her husband and three children. The Tearoom was published in 2021.
