Eleanor Damon was born on the mission station of Pniël in the Western Cape. She trained as a teacher, started teaching in 1978, and taught locally and abroad in primary, high schools and universities. She has authored and co-written a few books. As a storyteller, she loves writing travel blogs, short stories and poems. As a genealogist, she researches the history of her own and others’ families.
