Clinton Chauke is a social critic, a fierce debater and a Pan-Africanist at heart. He is currently working as a junior mining technician at Solar Mining Services, one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of explosives in the world. He can be described in many words, but one label he flatly rejects is that of ‘born-free’ – surprising, considering he was born in 1994. He argues that neither he nor the people born in and after 1994 are truly free.
