Christopher Hope has published poetry, novels, plays and works of non-fiction. His first collection of poetry, Cape Drives, won the Thomas Pringle Prize and a Cholmondeley Award. He has published several novels, including A Separate Development (recipient of the David Higham Memorial Prize) and Kruger’s Alp (winner of the Whitbread Prize in 1984). Serenity House was short listed for the Man Booker Prize in 1992. His memoir, White Boy Running, was published in 1988. Jimfish, his latest novel, is due in 2015.
