Bvbblegvm Illustrations is a small studio who produces witty handmade products which are 100% locally made and produced with love. Through the medium of illustration and product design Nadia du Plessis explores the ways in which individuals often make use of nostalgia as a coping mechanism. Her illustrations strongly focus on how we as individuals make use of nostalgia as a way in which we maintain and construct our identities. She aims to create products that are light-hearted, playful, sympathizing and most important of all honest towards the inner child within all of us “adults”.
