Buntu Siwisa is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). His book Rugby, Resistance and Politics: How Dan Qeqe Helped Shape the History of Port Elizabeth was published in 2022. Paperless is his debut novel and was shortlisted for the James Currey Prize for African Literature.
