Andrey Kurkov is a Ukrainian writer, journalist and commentator who has published novels, children’s books and articles. His work has been translated into 25 languages. His latest book, Ukraine Diaires: Dispatches from Kiev, is an account of the Euromaidan protests and the following months of upheaval. He is the Vice President of Ukrainian PEN.
