Almost there!

Two weeks from today, authors from around the world will have landed and be catching up on sleep in preparation for their events at Open Book 2014!

Each year, there are key moments that take our excitement up to the next level. One of those is the arrival of the printed programme – for those of you keen to get your hands on one, please visit the Book Lounge.
For those keen to buy tickets to any of the events, we are offering EFT and credit card facilities. For EFT payments, please mail openbooktickets@gmail.com, with the list of events you want to attend.

We do have some disappointing news unfortunately. Taiye Selasi is no longer able to join us for Open Book due to a family emergency. With the wealth of authors joining us however, we know that the festival is going to rock regardless!

Keep an eye on our website for any changes to the programme and should you have any queries, please do get in touch.

If you would like further details about the festival or events through the year, please contact Frankie (frankie@openbookfestival.co.za).

Open Book is organised in partnership with The Fugard Theatre, The District 6 Museum, The Townhouse Hotel, Equal Education, The Bookery, The Gordon Institute for Performing and Creative Arts, British Council & ConnectZA, The Dutch Institute for LIterature, The French Institute, The Confucius Institute, Central Library, SA PEN, The Goethe Institute, Nederlands Letterfonds, UCT Creative Writing Department and sponsored by The City of Cape Town, Leopard’s Leap, Penguin Books, Pan Macmillan, Random House Struik, NB Publishers, Jonathan Ball and Fox and Raven.
