OPEN BOOK CAPE TOWN
20 – 24 September 2012

Parkhurst Primary gets books and a printer!
Dr Fillis (principal of the school) and Hayley-Ann Powell (librarian) were delighted to receive a brand new printer for the library as well as the first batch of books. The printer came courtesy of Coricraft and will enable Hayley-Ann to print labels for the books. Huge thanks to them for their generosity as well as to Pan Macmillan and Book Promotions for their donations of books! To see more photographs, please visit our facebook page.

The festival later this year is looking increasingly exciting – more news in the near future about a wealth of Francophone authors who will be joining us! This is thanks to our ongoing partnership with the French Institute and Etonnants Voyageurs, a literary festival which takes place around the world as well as in France.

In other news, we are delighted to announce that Absa Bank has come on board as one of the sponsors of Open Book.
