Natalie Rae Denton Madise is the Project Administrator for the City of Cape Town and has worked in Libraries for more than ten years. While at Central Library, she worked closely with young adults, growing enthusiasm for the Library. Teen Thunder, a group that meets to discuss a variety of issues and topics, was her brain child and she continues to facilitate it. She also facilitated (with Frankie Murrey), the Open Book Mentoring Programme for Young Writers at Central Library and is the facilitator of the Writer’s Block project in Cape Town, a forum for young, aspiring writers. She collects books to stock libraries in Malawi. In her free time, she is a jazz vocalist.
