Jitsvinger

Jitsvinger (Quintin Goliath) is an Afrikaaps (a local Cape Town Afrikaans dialect) vernacular and Kyknet Fiestas award-winning performer who combines poetry, self-composed music, theatre and storytelling.
He released his first album, the self-written and critically acclaimed Skeletsleutel in 2006. Jitsvinger is a keen collaborator who’s literary craftsmanship has taken him to stages and countries including France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Chilé and Taiwan. Jitsvinger has performed at various South African poetry festivals including Speak The Mind, Poetry Africa, Open Book Festival, Spier Poetry Festival and Tuin Van Digters as well as musical festivals such as Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Arts Festival, Klein-Karoo Nationale Kunstefees (KKNK) and Oppikoppi, to name a few.
