    Ingrid Winterbach se eerste roman, Klaaglied vir Koos, is onder die skuilnaam Lettie Viljoen uitgegee. Sy het ‘n verdere vier romans as Lettie Viljoen gepubliseer, sowel as vyf romans onder haar eie naam. Die boek van toeval en toeverlaat is met die M-Net Prys, die WA Hofmeyr Prys en die UJ Prys vir kreatiewe skryfwerk bekroon. Haar mees onlangse roman, Die aanspraak van lewende wesens, is in 2012 uitgegee.

    Ingrid Winterbach’s first novel, Klaaglied vir Koos, was published under the alias, Lettie Viljoen. She has published a further four novels under the name Lettie Viljoen as well as several novels under her own name. Die Boek van Toeval en Toeverlaat was awarded the M-Net Prize, WA Hofmeyr Prize and UJ Prize for creative writing.  Her most recent novel to be translated into English, It Might Get Loud (translated by Michiel Heyns), was published in 2015.
