Haji Mohamed Dawjee has been featured on the Huffington Post Live, BBC 1, Al-Jazeera, BBC Radio, ANN7 and French broadcasting channel Le Tube.
Several publications have commissioned her columns relating to gender equality, sexuality, culture, race relations and feminism as well as ethics in the South African media environment. Her specific views on the racial context and disposition in South Africa were quoted by the Deputy Minister of Justice – John Jeffries – during his keynote address to the Human Rights Commission at Constitution Hill in 2015.
Currently, she is employed by Code For Africa at the head office in Cape Town as Programme Manager for impactAFRICA – the continent’s largest fund for digital-driven data storytelling.
