Toroga Denver is a Khoikhoi First nation language and cultural di – aon or activist, a xoa – aon or writer who uses his abogan mas or ancestral gifts to ǃkham or challenge the KAKAPUSA or erasure of the Khoikhoi gowas or language and Khoikhoi ǀgarubes or stories. Toroga has written for the stage, has published a book of karetsanas or poetry and compiled the ‘Khoikhoi book of useful phrases and words’.
