Dean Bowen is a poet, performer and actor. His poems have been published by Hard//Hoofd and nY amongst others. Known for his powerful performances he has been invited to such festivals as Poetry International Festival Rotterdam, Read My World and Dichters in de Prinsentuin. He is the first ever Van Dale SPOKEN Award winner in the ‘poetry’ category. He is also an editor at Perdu, a literary foundation dedicated to poetry and experiment based in Amsterdam.
